Note: This page is only applicable for NFT project founders or sub-DAOs that are applying to use BOLTfor collaboration purposes.
Head over to https://bolt.zenin.app/ to get started!
Navigate to the CREATE button at the top of BOLT Dashboard
Click on "Create a new Project" to navigate to a new page
Select Your Server that you want to have BOLT Discord bot installed onto
You must be a project administrator to see your NFT project within this list
Join the Zenin NFT project's official Discord server
Wait for the status "You are on the server!" to appear on the dashboard after joining the server
Please wait for the Zenin team to approve your project on BOLT. If you wanted to check on the approval process, please click the text in the BOLT web Dashboard to redirect to Zenin Discord server.
After your project has been accepted, proceed to the link to install BOLT.
Select the Discord server that you want to Install BOLTonto.
Accept ALL the permissions above. NOTE: Server Owners or administrators with high-level permissions must be inviting BOLT into the project Discord as ALL these permissions must be required for BOLTto function as intended. If a low-level administrator is missing some permissions, the installation will notify the user that they are missing certain permissions.
Manage Channels: Will only Add channels for the Incoming and Outgoing requests. Discord has a limitation which includes Add and Remove under "Manage Channels". BOLT will NOT delete any channels. : Creating Collaboration tickets.
Create Invite: Will allow BOLT to make an invite for the collaborating project instead of the one that has already been provided in BOLT project info. : For invite link to collaborating Discord
Read Messages: Will allow BOLT to scan and send messages over between collaborating projects. : For Collaboration Chat
Send Messages: Will allow BOLT to relay a message sent from the collaborating Discord to your server. : For Collaboration Chat
Send Messages in Threads: Will have no current uses on Phase 1. Will be implemented later. : For future implementation
Embed Links: Attached to "Send Messages" permission when a collaborating project sends their Whitelist or Collaboration template, this permission will allow for LINKS to carry over. : For Ease of use within Collaboration Chats and to allow for previews and a short summary of links that are being pasted.
Attach Files: Attached to "Send Messages" permission when a collaborating project sends Image files or other file types for the receiver to view. : For Ease of use within Collaboration Chat
Read Message History: Attached to "Send Messages" permission when a collaborating project requires the ability to look at the chat history within the Incoming and Outgoing server channels. : For Collaboration Chat and future implementation
Add Reactions: When a collaborating project uses an emoji to react, it will show up in the collaboration chat channel. : For Collaboration Chat
BOLTis now available to use on the accepted project's server. Please Navigate to Server Settings > Integrations > Locate BOLT Discord Bot > Manage Follow the permissions shown below. If you wanted BOLT access available for Verified Members within your Discord server, then you just need to allow the role within the server. Please refer to BOLT⚡ Commands to ensure that the appropriate commands are set individually.
Creating a Collaboration Manager Chat is highly recommended as the commands for Collaboration Managers are publicly visible. General User commands on the other hand output a response from BOLT where only the specific user of the command can see the results.
Once the installation process has been completed, ensure that Bolt bot is dragged above the Collaboration Manager role within Discord's Role settings. Check BOLT⚡ Commands under Collaboration Manager Command "/perms". Path: Settings > Roles > Locate BOLT role > Drag BOLT role(Click and Hold 8 dots on the left side of Role Name) > Drop BOLT above Collaboration Manager role.
